Q1. What is diabetics
A1. Diabetes is a disease in which blood glucose or blood sugar levels are too high. Glucose comes from the foods that we eat. Insulin is a hormone which is produced by the pancreas that helps the glucose to get into the cells to give us energy. With type one diabetes the body does not make any insulin. There are other types of diabetes like type two and gestational diabetes.
In order to understand diabetes we need to understand the role of insulin in our body. When we eat our body turns food into sugar or glucose at that point pen close is supposed to relieve the insulin. Insulin serves as a key to open ourselves to allow the glucose to enter, and allow us to use the blue close to energy. But with diabetes this does not work.
Several major things can go wrong causing the onset of diabetes.
Diabetes is a leading cause of blindness, kidney failure, amputation, heart failure and stroke.
Type one diabetes is the most severe form of diabetes where the body does not produce any insulin and it becomes insulin-dependent . With type one diabetes the bodies immune system attacks part of its own pancreas. Scientists are not sure why. But the immune system mistakenly sees the insulin producing cells in the pancreas as for him and destroys them. He said that he’s known as autoimmune disease. Sometimes viral illness can also trigger the juvenile diabetes.
The most common form of diabetes is called type two or non-insulin-dependent diabetes. This is also called adult onset diabetes. This usually develops after 35 years of age. But recently adolescence have been diagnosed with type two diabetes.
Open type two diabetes is associated with overweight and all we do is sit in true lifestyle.
The treatment of diabetes focuses on diet and exercise. If the blood sugar levels are still high oral medications are used to help the body to use its own insulin more efficiently. In some cases if all of the above does not work insulin injections are Necessary .Lately the newer medications and the improvement of the care of diabetes with the long acting insulin’s house helping to manage the disease better and prevent the morbidity and mortality.
