Why building a community so critically important?

Almost half of Americans feel alone and isolated, according to a 2018 study by Cigna.  Though it may surprise many, the Cigna study suggests that the use of technology and social media has minimal influence on a person’s feelings of isolation.

The study found that face-to-face interactions, physical and mental wellness, and work-life balance have the greatest impact on loneliness.

People are craving community now more than ever. For businesses, this means that community is critical to success. However, forming a community requires much more than simply gathering people together in the same place or accumulating a certain number of users on an app or site.

What is the CES?
