Best practices for communicating with Politicians and their staff

Thank you for exercising your voice and calling, writing or tweeting the Government of Ontario about the proposed OPP Billing Model. Remember that you will most likely be talking to staff, not the Premier or Minister, and that they are people too! They are responsible for gathering information about your interaction with them and passing it along to their superiors – treating the staff with respect will go a long way to making sure your interaction is recorded and passed along.

Here are a few tips to help you get your message across while you communicate with politicians and their staff.
